I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with Mental Health Service Provider designation (LPC-MHSP) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). I received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Middle Tennessee State University with a Major in Psychology and Master’s in Mental Health Counseling, and completed my graduate practicum with The Ranch treatment center and internship with the Integrative Life Center. I joined the Integrative Life Center in 2013 full-time as a primary therapist where I provided group and individual intensive outpatient services to adult clients recovering from many types of trauma, addiction/substance abuse, eating disorders, sex/love addiction, codependency, and other co-occurring issues, before moving into private practice in 2016.  In my own personal growth work, I found that while talking about my issues was indeed very helpful, approaches that also allowed me to begin to connect to my body and actually heal from the “bottom up” were transformational, and so my passion lies with utilizing mindfulness and experientially-based interventions to help others begin to heal pain and connect to their truth on a deeper level than talk therapy alone can provide.
